1. Magens Bay Beach

Whether you are visiting the island for 3 days or for 10, make sure you don’t miss this beach. It is known as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world and offers the obvious swimming and sun tanning, but also spectacular hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding, and sailing opportunities. There is a store for all your beach needs and a bar-restaurant for refreshments. And we are not even talking about spectacular picture opportunities and sea turtles spotting!

.

2. Duty Free Shopping

St. Thomas is famous for world-class shopping opportunities. Some people come here just for that! In addition to lower prices, there is no sales tax. This makes spending a day or two shopping a perfect addition to your vacation. Try stores in the downtown of Charlotte Amalie, Havensight Mall, Red Hook, Crown Bay Center, or Yacht Haven Grande. Each member of the family, including children, can shop $1,600 worth of duty-free goods. Now the only problem will be fitting all the goodies into your luggage.

.

3. Taste of the Tropics

It goes without saying that St. Thomas features a great collection of restaurants thanks to its tropical location and fresh exotic options. You should definitely leave your hotel to experience some amazing local cuisines and flavors. Expect to find fresh kallaloo, Italian, local seafood, fungi, burgers, and countless others. Red Hook and Frenchtown are two great options for treating your palate with unforgettable tastes.

.

4. Coral World Ocean Park and Undersea Observatory

If snorkeling is not your thing, but colorful fish is – visit this park and get up close and personal with marine life. Coral reef is open for your exploration from unique underwater observatory. Finally, a tasty lunch and awesome gifts wait at the restaurant and gift shop.

5. Virgin Islands Ecotours

Choose between kayaking, hiking, and snorkeling with USVI Ecotours. You can spot lots of wildlife while paddling through St. Thomas Mangrove Lagoon. History lovers will enjoy historic Hassel Island hiking tours exploring ancient ruins and forts. You can also rent watersports equipment for up to a week.

.

6. Drake's Seat

This view is hard to beat anywhere in the world with the Magens Bay beneath it and other Virgin Islands in the distance. This place is usually crowded, especially in the late afternoon, when the light is out of this world. The spot is known as a place where Sir Francis Drake used to spy on the passing Spanish Fleet ships. Entrance is free to make it even better, so get your cameras ready.

.

7. Mountain Top

Another amazing panoramic view spot is Mountain Top at an impressive 1,500 feet above sea level. You can see 20 islands from there. It has been rated as one of the top 10 view spots in the world by National Geographic. You can also do a bit of shopping here and enjoy a beverage from the bar, home of the famous Banana Daiquiri.

.

8. Tree Limin' Extreme

You can explore the rainforest from above on this 2 ˝ hour long zipline adventure. You will see Magen’s Bay from above and will have plenty of picture opportunities from 8 areal platforms along the way and 6 ziplines. There are also 2 sky bridges to walk at your leisure. Finally, take a thrill of a lifetime with Yo-Yo zip!

.

9. Other Islands

Take a ferry to the British Virgin Island of Tortola for the Dolphin Discovery. This swimming with dolphins requires a reservation in advance, so make that and have your passport handy. Another option is to take a Seaplane to St. Croix for some amazing golf at the Carambola Golf Course. Also consider visiting rock formations in Virgin Gorda or diving the "Wreck of the Rhone" in British Virgin Islands.

.

This goes without saying – water is everywhere here and chances are you are coming just for that.

Enjoy powerboating with 45’ Sea Ray motor yacht or a smaller 25’ beauty with lunch and drinks included.
